Terms and Conditions

1. Company Information

QUU Design is operated by Heli Mäkiranta Design Oy (Business ID: 2922916-7, VAT ID: FI29229167).

We sell products to consumers aged 18 years or older in Finland, the European Union, and selected international destinations. All prices displayed in our online store are shown in euros (€) and include applicable VAT(25,5%) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to modify prices, product specifications, shipping costs, and these terms and conditions without prior notice.

2. Ordering

Orders are placed through our online store by adding products to the shopping cart and completing the checkout process.

Once an order has been successfully placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the customer. The order confirmation serves as proof that we have received your order.

By placing an order, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete and that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Customer information is used solely for processing orders, delivering products, providing customer service, and fulfilling legal obligations. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except where necessary for payment processing, delivery services, or legal compliance.

4. Payments

We offer secure payment options through trusted payment service providers.

Paytrail

Payments are securely processed by Paytrail Oyj (Business ID: 2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and financial institutions. All payment transactions are protected using industry-standard encryption technologies.

Klarna

Selected payment methods may be provided through Klarna. To facilitate payments, certain customer and order information may be shared with Klarna in accordance with Klarna's Privacy Notice.

5. Pricing and Taxes

All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include applicable VAT in Finland it is 25,5%.

For orders delivered outside the European Union, local customs duties, taxes, import fees, and other charges may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping fees.

6. Order Confirmation

After completing your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please ensure that the email address provided during checkout is correct.

If you do not receive an order confirmation within a reasonable time, please contact our customer service team.

7. Delivery

Delivery times and shipping costs vary depending on the destination and the products ordered.

Products will be delivered to the shipping address provided during checkout. Once an order has been processed and dispatched, modifications to the delivery address may no longer be possible.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and cannot be guaranteed.

QUU Design is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to transportation disruptions, customs procedures, strikes, extreme weather conditions, or other force majeure events.

If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, the customer should immediately report the damage to both the carrier and our customer service team.

8. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Consumers within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving their order without providing a reason.

To qualify for a return:

The product must be unused and in its original condition.
The product must be returned in its original packaging whenever possible.
A return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
Proof of purchase must be provided.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.

Custom-made, personalized, and special-order products are not eligible for return unless they arrive defective or damaged.

9. Refunds

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within approximately 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank, credit card provider, or payment service.

Original shipping fees and return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return results from our error or a defective product.

10. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery.

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible and preferably within three days of receipt. We may request photographs and additional information to evaluate the issue.

If the claim is accepted, we will repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

11. Consumer Rights and Product Claims

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.

If a product contains a manufacturing defect or does not conform to the contract of sale, you may have the right to make a claim under applicable consumer protection legislation. Claims regarding defects should be submitted within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered.

Customers may be asked to provide photographs or other evidence of the defect to facilitate the claims process.
